Semantic Search
Find expenses and income using natural, fuzzy descriptions — not exact keywords.
How to search
Just ask the bot in plain language:
find all Grab rides last month
show me food expenses similar to mamak
search for expenses like Netflix
any entertainment spending this month?
Duitbot uses AI-powered semantic matching to find the most relevant entries — even if the exact words don't match.
What makes it different from a keyword search
A keyword search for "grab" would only match entries with the word "grab" in the description.
Semantic search understands meaning — so searching for "ride-hailing" might surface Grab, Mycar, and InDriver entries. Searching for "streaming" might find Netflix, Spotify, and Disney+.
Plan requirement
Semantic search requires a Pro or Ultimate plan.
note
Semantic search requires a moment to index new expenses in the background. Very recently added expenses may not appear immediately in search results.
Tips for better results
- Be descriptive: "coffee shop visits" works better than "coffee"
- Include context: "transport to work" helps narrow results
- You can combine with time: "food expenses last week similar to mamak"
