Quick Start
Get up and running with Duitbot in under two minutes.
Step 1 — Start the bot
Open Telegram and search for @DuitOngBot (or use the link your admin shared), then tap Start or send /start.
Duitbot will greet you and create your account automatically.
Step 2 — Create your first account
Before logging expenses, create at least one account (e.g. your bank account, e-wallet, or cash).
/newaccount
Duitbot will guide you through:
- Account name (e.g. "Maybank", "Touch n Go", "Cash")
- Account type (Bank / E-Wallet / Cash / Credit Card / Investment)
- Starting balance (e.g. 1500.00)
- Currency (default: MYR)
You can create up to 2 accounts on the free plan, 5 on Pro, and unlimited on Ultimate.
Step 3 — Log your first expense
Just type what you spent. No special syntax required.

Duitbot will parse the amount and category, then ask you to confirm before saving.

Confirmation mode
By default, Duitbot shows you a preview before saving each expense. You can tap Confirm to save or Cancel to discard.
To turn this off (save immediately without confirmation): /toggle_confirm
You can turn it back on the same way.
