Net Worth

Get an instant snapshot of your total net worth across all accounts.

/networth

What it shows

Duitbot groups all your accounts into assets and liabilities:

  • Assets — Bank, E-Wallet, and Cash accounts (positive balances)
  • Liabilities — Credit Card accounts (outstanding debt)

Each account is listed with its current balance and currency.

Per-currency subtotals

If you hold accounts in multiple currencies, Duitbot shows a net subtotal for each currency separately. Then it converts everything to your default currency for a single grand total.

Conversion accuracy

  • prefix — the grand total involves a single-step currency conversion (one live rate used)
  • ~ prefix — at least one exchange rate was unavailable; the total is an approximation

Group scope

When you're in a group, /networth includes both your personal accounts and the group's shared accounts, labelled separately:

Personal
Maybank MYR 4,200.00
Touch n Go MYR 320.50

Group: Family
Joint Account MYR 8,500.00
CIMB CC -MYR 450.00 (liability)

Switch to personal scope with /switchgroup if you want to see only your own accounts.

Credit card accounts

Credit card balances are shown as negative values in the net worth calculation — they represent money you owe, not money you have. A credit card with zero outstanding contributes MYR 0 to your net worth.

Keeping it accurate

Net worth is only as accurate as your logged data. For best results:

  • Keep account balances up to date via topups and transfers
  • Link expenses and income to the right accounts so balances move automatically
  • Record credit card payments as transfers from your bank to the credit card account
